Healthcare & Physical Safety Policy
Safety and transparency for home healthcare visits
Effective Date: January 6, 2026 | Last Updated: January 6, 2026
8.1 Nature of Services
MyVaidh facilitates physical home visits by healthcare professionals ("Service Providers"), including Doctors, Nurses, and General Duty Assistants. While MyVaidh conducts rigorous background verifications of all Service Providers (including identity and qualification checks), the User acknowledges that MyVaidh is the technology facilitator and not the direct employer of these independent professionals.
8.2 Staff Safety & Zero Tolerance
MyVaidh maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding the safety of our Service Providers. We reserve the right to:
- Collect the User's precise location data to track the safety of the Service Provider during a home visit.
- Terminate services immediately if a Service Provider reports verbal abuse, physical misconduct, or an unsafe environment at the User's premises.
- Share User details with law enforcement agencies if a safety incident occurs during a home visit, as required by Indian Law (BNS 2023).
8.3 User Responsibilities during Home Visits
By booking a home service, the User agrees to:
- Provide a safe, hygienic, and accessible environment for the Service Provider.
- Confine pets and ensure no minors are left unattended during the procedure.
- Verify the identity of the Service Provider via the "Service ID Card" displayed in the MyVaidh App before allowing entry.
8.4 Emergency Disclaimer
MyVaidh Home Healthcare services are NOT for medical emergencies. In case of chest pain, heavy bleeding, breathing difficulties, or unconsciousness, the User must call an Ambulance (112/102) immediately. MyVaidh disclaims all liability for adverse outcomes resulting from a failure to seek emergency hospital care.
